Pay Now URLs

There are several ways to get your clients to our pay now page.  For Xero users, the most common way is to integrate with the Xero Payment Services module and send your invoices from Xero (this is not available for Quickbooks users).  You can also send an invitation for the contact to be invited to set up their payment profile.  But sometimes neither of these options will work for you.  So here's some extra options:

Copy the Contact's Pay Now Link

You can copy the Pay Now link from the uCollect Search Contact page.  This is unique to each contact.

You can't specify a payment method with this option - the customer will have all normal payment options available.  This link can NOT be shared among contacts.

A Generic Pay Now link

There is a generic link that you can send to anyone: https://app.ucollect.biz/paynow/search/{code}. The {code} is a unique code for each uCollect organisation. It is not something that you can currently determine yourself.  Please contact support to obtain your code.

This will allow the customer to search (two criteria needed) and find their record without a direct link.  You can't specify a payment method with this option - the customer will have all normal payment options available.  This link CAN be shared among contacts.

There is also a generic link to create a new contact: https://app.ucollect.biz/paynow/new/{code}

Send the invite to yourself

The Invite URL is not generated until it is sent.  If you want to send the invite from your own email then enter your email into the invite option and it will send the invite to you.  The URL is now available from the invite dialog and will have been sent to you.  You can now copy that URL and past it into our own email and send to your customer.  This URL will be unique to the customer and will restrict them to the payment gateway(s) you have selected.

All these options assume that Pay Now services are property setup in your uCollect account.  This is done in the Payment Gateway setup screen for each eligible gateway.
